Denise Rae Leitz Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Denise Rae Leitz of New Ulm, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Denise departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Denise may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Denise leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Firle and Ruth Firle (Evers). She is survived by: her children, Jody Krause (Paul) of Plainview, Crystal Meier of Phoenix, Arizona and Joshua Leitz (Lee) of New Ulm; and her brothers, Thomas Firle of New Ulm and James "Jim" Firle (Lynette) of Elk River. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren.
