Diane M. Portner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, at the age of 70, Diane M. Portner of New Ulm, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Diane M. Portner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bauer and Louise Bauer (Domeier); and her siblings, Louise Bauer, Patrick Bauer and Wally Bauer.
She is survived by: her husband Tom; her grandchildren, Chad Brock (Roxanne), Drake, Macey and Jerad (Laura); her siblings, Thomas Bauer (Sandy), Mary Ann Mingo (John), Jane Hoffman and Roger Bauer (Joyce); and her brother-in-law Rick Hoffman. She is also survived by her sons and daughter in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home North Chapel (218 N Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the New Ulm Country Club (1 Golf Dr, New Ulm, MN 56073).
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to New Ulm Emergency Food Self, St. Croix Hospice, or donor's choice.
