We announce the death of Donna Hoffmann of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 93. Donna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Sally Kelly, Helen Waibel, Alice Zeig, Grace Fischer, Harold and Eugene Schugel; and her parents, Mike Schugel and Appelonia Schugel (Haas).
She is survived by: her husband Ambrose Hoffmann of New Ulm; and her children, Susie Olsen (Bill), Judy, Jane Stueber (Ron), Peggy O'Kane (Terry), Rich Hoffmann (Lisa), Doug Hoffmann (Sara), Jeff Hoffmann (Cindy), Todd Hoffmann (Shelly) and Chad Hoffmann (Amber). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (417 S Minnesota St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
