He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Willard Bode and Irma Bode (Schmidt); his wife Diane (Burg); his daughters, Heather and Meghan; and his grandchildren, Jaxton, Hudson and Quinn.
In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are preferred for a future athletic scholarship fund that will be established in Doug's memory.
