He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Dummer and Helen Wendinger Dummer of New Ulm; his wife Pat; his sons, Douglas and Mark; his brother George Dummer; his parents-in-law, Joe and Cecilia Haas; his brother-in-law Kenny Haas; and his nephew David Palmer.

He is survived by : his in-laws, Jean Dummer, Elaine, John Palmer, Tom Penkert, Donnie, Connie Haas and Carol Haas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. George (63105 Fort Rd, New Ulm, MN 56073). A Mass was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Church of St. George Catholic Cemetery (63105 Fort Rd, New Ulm, MN 56073).
