He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Burghardt; his daughter Roseanne Schapekahm; his grandson Zachary Hauser; his siblings, Alois Regner, Theresa Holm (Charles), Maryann Seims (Ken) and Doris Moses (Daryl); his siblings-in-law, Elaine Regner and John Lauruhn; and his parents, Joseph Regner and Mary Regner (Kahs).
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Palmquist (Carey) of Nicollet and Eugene (Jean) of New Ulm; his son-in-law Jeff Schapekahm of Essig; his siblings, Cathy Lauruhn of Alaska, Hildegard Aitken of Connecticut, Joe (Sylvia) of Austin, TX and Mike of Winthrop; and his sister-in-law Alice Regner of Winthrop.
