It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellsworth Pregler of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Ellsworth may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Pregler. He is survived by: his daughters, Lorie Pregler and Sue Guggisberg (Pete); his granddaughters, Jessica Tauber (Curt) and Jme Guggisberg; and his sister-in-law Eloise Finstad. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery (201 N State St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
