She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Golterman and Leona Golterman (Hoeper); her brother Bill Golterman; and her granddaughter Jillian Thompson. She is survived by: her son Wayne Thompson (RaeAnn); her grandchildren, Melissa Hamsmith (Robert), Kimberly Thompson (Jared Landsteiner), Tyler Thompson (Stephanie), Darren Thompson (Megan), Caleb Thompson (Wylie Rollings) and Jackie Hill (Cayson); and her siblings, Carl Golterman (Joann), Betty Thompson (Golterman) and Laura Tucker (Golterman). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sturm Funeral Home - St. James (906 10th Ave S, St James, MN 56081). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (1126 Co Hwy 14, St James, MN 56081).
