He was predeceased by: his sister Pearl Hillman; his brothers-in-law, Leander Altmann, Richard Preisinger and Gerald Hillman; and his parents, Henry Guggisberg and Elsie Guggisberg (Hanslick).
He is survived by: his sister Nettie Preisinger; and his nieces and nephews, Randy Preisinger (Ellen), Cindy Preisinger, Sheri Johnson (Chris), Terri Schneider (Brian), Scott Altmann (Korene), Chuck Guggisberg (Becky Sexton), Christie Schablin (Chris) and Michelle Place (Lisa).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Ulm South Chapel (600 S Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – South Chapel (218 N Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
