He was predeceased by: his wife LaVonne Kuelbs; his daughter Julie Ann Smith (Kuelbs); his sister Mary Ann Broich (Jim); his brother-in-law Chuck Hesse; and his parents, Einar Kuelbs and Leona Kuelbs (Brand).
He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Kuelbs (Shannon McDonald) and Gary Kuelbs (Heidi Hinderman); his grandchildren, Brandon Kuelbs (Jess), Jason Kuelbs, Jessica Cipriano (Gaetano), Rebecca Fuller (Chris) and Joel Smith (Lyndsey); and his great grandchildren, Elena, Kallin, Aubrey, Kamden, Lily, Lola and Laney. He is also survived by many other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Oak Hills Living Center and Christ the King Lutheran Church.
