He was predeceased by: his father Leo Wallner; his wife Helen Ann Sprenger; his stepfather Joseph Stadick; and his brothers, Rodney and Leo Wallner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jenny Van Eck (David) of Madison Lake and Julie Rose (Shane) of Woodbury; his grandchildren, Tyler, Jonathan, Carter Van Eck, Olivia and Lila Rose; his sister Kathleen Wallner; and his siblings-in-law, Jan Wallner and Clarence Sprenger (Joyce). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Ulm South Chapel (600 S Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – South Chapel (218 N Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
