He was predeceased by: his father Arnold Beranek. He is survived by: his wife Diane Penkert; his stepchildren, Melissa Baker (Craig) of Hillsboro, OR, James Penkert (Erica) of St. Peter, Erich Penkert (Heather), Mankato and Gretchen Becker of Montgomery, MN; his mother Elaine Beranek (Tauer) of New Ulm; his stepgrandchildren, Benjamin, Gabriella, Olivia, Aaron, Grace, Bianca, Cora, Rosa, Pearl, Lillian, Mathilda and Gideon; and his siblings, Paul Beranek (Colleen) of New Ulm and Kay Krech (Steve) of Hastings.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church (201 N State St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
