With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerome P. Nachreiner of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on December 3, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nachreiner and Catherine Nachreiner (Platz); and his siblings, Edmund Nachreiner (Loretta), Lynora Gentz (Walter), Leon Nachreiner (Betty), Madonna Hillesheim (Albert), Luella Nachreiner, Omer Lentsch and Donald Balbach.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hess; his children, Jorja Bleess (Scott) of Lafayette, Scott Nachreiner (Laurinda) of Canon City, CO, Tracy Rasmussen (Mike) of Redwood Falls, Michelle Liebl (Mark) of Wabasso and Derek Hess of Sartell; his grandchildren, Danielle Marenco, Jeffery Bleess, Kali Bleess, Tyler Bleess, Dawson Nachreiner, Brianna Rasmussen, Marissa Rasmussen (Mel), Jordan Rasmussen, Erin Rohlik (Mitch), Devan Liebl (Madalyn), Ryan Liebl, Joe Liebl, Shawn Hess and Ashley Gustafson (Topher); and his siblings, Lillian Lentsch of Arlington, Kathleen Balbach of New Ulm, Linus Nachreiner (Rosie) of New Ulm and Arnold Nachreiner (Ruth) of New Ulm. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – South Chapel (600 S Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
