She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorvin Harting and Edna Harting; her sister Judy Jones; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Holzhueter and Nancy Jahn.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Joel Gaertner (LuAnn), Jeff Gaertner (Lisa), Jill Roux (Jonathan) and Julie Weishalla (Brett); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Tolonen (Tyler), Philip Gaertner (Beth), Ethan Gaertner, Jake Gaertner, Kaitlyn Roux, Micah Roux (Hannah), Emma Weishalla, Katherine Weishalla and Sophia Weishalla; her great grandchildren, Natalie Tolonen, Ruby Tolonen, Edward Tolonen and Adaline Gaertner; and her siblings-in-law, Suzanne Holzhueter and Hugh Jahn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (627 S Washington St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
