John Henry Waibel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Henry Waibel (New Ulm, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Waibel and Mary Waibel (Stadick); his daughter Lori Ann; his grandsons, Jacob and Joshua Janni; and his brothers, Tom Waibel (Sunday), Charles Waibel Jr. and Leo Waibel.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Waibel; his children, Christine Janni, Michael Waibel (Teresa), Robert Waibel and Paul Waibel; his sister Betty Patrin; and his sisters-in-law, Rita and Ruth Waibel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – North Chapel (218 N Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (605 N State St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
