With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Leo Reinarts of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on November 16, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Reinarts and Rose Reinarts (Borth); his in-laws, Leonard and Roseal Helget; and his son Justin Reinarts.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne "Porky" Reinarts of New Ulm; his children, Michelle "Shelly" Thomas of New Ulm, Troy Reinarts of New Ulm and Brent Reinarts (Julie) of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Dustin Thomas of Lake Crystal, Amber Wicke of Jordan, Jordan Reinarts of New Ulm, Drew Reinarts (Allison) of Sleepy Eye, Austin Reinarts of Mille Lacs and Mason Reinarts of Mille Lacs; and his sister Mary Edmunds of LaQuinta, California. He is also survived by his 6 great-grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (605 N State St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
