In the sacred silence of farewell, Kent is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kent's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Blomquist and Yvonne Blomquist (Torgrimson) of New Ulm; his friend Joe; his wife Gail Blomquist; his daughter Briana Blomquist of Mankato; and his sister Yvette Mosenden (Paul) of Hanska.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – North Chapel (218 N Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
