He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Fehlman and Orville Fehlman; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Brandes and Gerald Brandes. He is survived by: his friend Tony Ulmen of North Mankato; his sisters, Joyce Brandes and Judy Brandes; and his siblings' children, Brenda Smiley (Seth), Brian Brandes (Heidi), Lonnie Brandes, Kelli Lindell (Kent), Lanae Walker (Rob), Kristi Cooper (Shaun), Kari Brandes, Lisa Bissen (Patrick) and Leslie Brandes (Jennifer). He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church (201 N State St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery (201 N State St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
