He was predeceased by: his children, Brenda Watson and Larry Waibel; his brothers, Tom Waibel (Sunday) and Charles Waibel, Jr.; and his parents, Charles Sr. Waibel and Mary Waibel (Stadick).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Waibel; his children, Cheryl Clyne (Ken) and Steven Waibel (Barb); his children-in-law, Deb Waibel and Randy Watson; his siblings, Betty Patrin and John Waibel (Marlys); and his sister-in-law Rita Waibel. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home—north Chapel (218 N Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Oak Hills Living Center, Allina Hospice, or donor's choice.
