It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Malinda L. Versch of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Versch; her sister Virginia Faas (Robert); her son-in-law Galen Havemeier; her brother-in-law Albert Versch (Gail); and her parents, Arthur Marunde and Adeline Marunde (Feldman).
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Versch (Vicki), Sandra Havemeier and Kathy Nelson (Tim); and her grandchildren, Justin Havemeier, Jeffrey Havemeier (Aileen), Kayla Bell (Jacob), Chyla Nelson, Staci Beranek (Eric) and Connor Versch. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church (201 N State St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to Oak Hills Living Center or St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
