She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Schugel of Savior's Lutheran Church; her parents-in-law, Leo J. and Elizabeth Schugel; her siblings-in-law, Geraldine Fischer, Marlys Brandel, Jerome Havemeier, Robert Curtis, Delbert Fischer Sr. and Harold Brandel; her nephew Larry Brandel; her niece Lori Achman; and her parents, William Hackbarth and Lydia Hackbarth (Koenig).

She is survived by: her sisters, Margaret Havemeier and Doris Curtis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
