He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn Fiemeyer; his granddaughter Jane Fiemeyer; his brothers, Orval Fiemeyer (Helen) and Armin Fiemeyer; his in-laws, Gary Zimmerman, Orval and Nancy UIrich; and his parents, Armin Fiemeyer and Stella Fiemeyer (Ginkel).
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Fiemeyer, Myron Fiemeyer (Joan), Mark Fiemeyer, Craig Fiemeyer (Gretchen) and David Fiemeyer; his grandchildren, Michael Fiemeyer (Sarah), Angela Emmeck (Jacob), Brent Fiemeyer (Ashley), Abigail Fiemeyer, KatieRae Fiemeyer and Anna Fiemeyer; his great grandchildren, Samantha Jo, Emmalee, Zachary, Bradley, Morgan, Devin, Audrey, Lucy and Evelyn; his brother Duane Fiemeyer (Marjorie); and his in-laws, Sue Zimmerman and Harold Ulrich (Vivian). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In recognition of his dedication and contributions to the sport, Marvin was inducted into the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973.
