Nicholas Albert Hoffmann Obituary
We announce the death of Nicholas Albert Hoffmann (New Ulm, Minnesota), who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 39. Nicholas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fred, Eunice Trout, Howard and Lois Hoffmann. He is survived by: his wife Megan Hoffmann of Nicollet; his children, McKinlee, Rylee and Rhett; his parents, Larry Hoffmann and Arlynne Hoffmann (Trout) of Lafayette; his siblings, Angie Voges (Mark) of Nicollet, Doug Hoffmann (Rachel) of Lafayette and Joe Hoffmann (Erika) of New Ulm; and his pet Fynn. He is also survived by his family, Nick leaves behind a legacy that will live on in the land he cared for, the lessons he taught, the memories he created, and most importantly, in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to call him husband, dad, son, brother, and friend.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (417 S Minnesota St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Turner Hall (102 S State St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Allina Oncology, Hospice, or the donor's choice.
