He was predeceased by: his brother Paul Kretsch; his granddaughter Ellie Dittrich; his brother-in-law Jerry Gulden; his parents, Anton Kretsch and Eleanor Kretsch (Haala); Sylvester and Catherine Franta.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Kretsch of New Ulm; his children, Patti Dittrich (Dave) of New Ulm and Brian Kretsch (Jenifer) of Gibbon; his grandchildren, Liza, Tony, Katie, Jessica, Sammie, Hunter and Allie; his great grandchildren, Anton, Emmie and Jade; his siblings, Monica Wenninger (Randy) of New Ulm and Ernie Kretsch (Theresia) of New Ulm; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Kretsch of New Ulm and Shirleen Gulden of Mankato. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.
Memorials are preferred to the German Bohemian Heritage Society Memorial Fund, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or the donor's choice.
