It is with sadness that the passing of Robert Forst (New Ulm, Minnesota) is shared. Robert, born on January 5, 1939, passed away on July 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Vernita Kelley, Gerald Forst (Shirley) and Stanley Forst; his son-in-law Walter L. Rewitzer; his great grandchild Liam Forst; and his parents, Herbert Forst and Agnes Forst (Beranek).
He is survived by: his wife Alice Schmitz of New Ulm; his children, Mary Jean Waibel (Tim) of Courtland, Ann Zimmerman (Doug) of Hayward, Wisconsin, Glenn Forst (Jackie) of Gibbon and Lynn Forst (Sue) of Gibbon; and his sister Sis Kral (Dick) of New Ulm. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorials are preferred to Oak Hills Memorial Foundation.
