With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger W. Cherrington of New Ulm, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Cherrington and Anna Ruth Cherrington (Miller); his siblings, Chester Cherrington (Rosalie), Sylvia Boettger (Jule), Carol Hansen (Lloyd) and Betty Nelson (Paul); Arthur and Alice Evenson.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Evenson; his children, New Ulm, Judith Nelson (Eugene) of New Ulm, Carol Hatfield (Stephen) of Indianapolis, Craig Cherrington of Wrenshall and Barbara Pappin (Douglas) of Byron, Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Matthew Hatfield, Derek Cherrington, Taylor Hatfield, Warren Cherrington, Caitlin Kee, Rhiannon Janke, Samuel Nelson, Robby Pappin and Alicia Reedy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
