He is survived by: his wife Denise Flogstad Hughes of New Ulm; his children, Wynn Hughes (Heidi) of Fergus Falls, Lucas Hughes of Mankato, Crystal Frederickson (Jason) of New Ulm and Elias Hughes (Anna) of New Ulm; and his siblings, Guy Hughes (Lori) of Dixon, MT, Jay Hughes (Patti) of New Ulm, Charlie Hughes of New Ulm, Doug Hughes (Rhonda) of New Ulm, Roman Hacker (Katy) of Stevensville, MT, Missy Hughes (Craig) of New Ulm, Rachel Domeier (Lowell) of New Ulm, Peter "Shorty" Olson, Oscar Olson and Oz Olson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends.
