He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Z. Wenner and Anna Wenner Sr. (Hiniker); his wife Marlys M. Meurer of Michael's Catholic Church; his grandson Lucas Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Marianne Sohre, Gene, Mert and Clifford Wenner.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Wenner (Mary) of Nicollet, Tami Randall (Brian) of Mason City, IA, Monica Johnson (Kirk) of St. Louis, MO and Mike Wenner (Lana) of Nicollet; his grandchildren, Nate Wenner (Amanda), Sarah Reinhart (Aaron), Holly Sebesta (Ben), Lindsay Fitzgerald, Ben Johnson (Elise), Becky Johnson (Hector Alfonseca), Tyler Wenner and Kayla Wenner (Mick Schuller); his great grandchildren, Tegan, Dane Wenner, Charlotte, Jaxon Sebesta, Danny and Nora Johnson; his siblings, Ken Wenner (Phyllis), Wendell Wenner Jr. and Donna Zins; and his sister-in-law Margie Wenner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul’s Catholic Church (411 5th St, Nicollet, MN 56074). A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Paul (411 5th St, Nicollet, MN 56074).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Paul's Catholic Church or St. Croix Hospice.
