She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Kastens; her son Dean; her siblings, Opal Biehn (Wayne), Bernice Gronholz (Robert), Raymond Grunst (Ruby), Leroy Grunst (Dorothy), Virgil "Dood" Grunst (Lois), Robert Grunst (Arlene) and Edward Grunst (Sandy); and her parents, Edward Grunst and Grace Grunst (Hite).
She is survived by: her daughters, Shelly Garman (Dan) of Cedar Rapids and Sharon Johnston of Nicollet; her grandchildren, Krystin Mittan (Chad), Ryan Garman (Lyndsey), Erin Kastens, Jessica Pankratz (Scott) and Jenna Kadlec (Thomas); and her great grandchildren, Nolan, Addie, Myles Mittan, Hadley, Riley Garnan, Anarii Kastens, Olivia, Mason Pankratz and Clayton Kadlec. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
