He is survived by: his grandson Rick; his wife Linda Kay Martell; his children, Connie Sandman (late Paul) of Hawley, MN, Regina Wojahn (Brent) of Fargo, ND, Crystal Prose (Anthony) of Hawley, MN and Rick Schmidt of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Erica Sandman of Moorhead, MN, Micah Sandman of Pelican Rapids, MN, Gabe Buehler, Grace and Faith Schmidt of Fargo, ND; his sisters, Janice Tolifson (Ronnie) of Herman, MN and Joan Radil of Alexandria, MN; and his sister-in-law Dixie Schmidt of Herman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
