He was predeceased by: his son Johnny Olson; his parents, Bill Olson and Wilma Olson; and his brother Jimmy Olson. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Olson; his children, Keri Fisher (Mike), Charity Lovas Luke (Tom) and Jerry Parkin; his siblings, Ben Olson, Karen Campbell (Mark) and Karla Waddell (Bob); and his grandchildren, Michael Fisher (Julia), Austin Fisher (Katherine), Levi Fisher, Aislynn Fisher, Davey Olson, Wesley Lovas (Alex), Tommy Lovas, Tamara Lovas, Alana Olson, Allison Olson, Aiden Olson, Cassidy Seamandel (Savanna), Brayson Parkin and Landon Parkin.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Main Street Church (6500 Main St, North Branch, MN 55056). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
