He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Defiel and Henrietta Defiel (Soika); his great grandchild Aiva Rae; and his siblings, Gilbert, Nick, Jim and Judy Mutzberg.
He is survived by: his wife Judy (Agnew); his daughters, Dana and Denise Defiel; his grandchildren, Devin Underwood (Seth), Kellie Brown and Denae Twiest (Trevor Nelson); his great grandchildren, Easton Brown and Lainie Twiest Nelson; his siblings, Jake and Dolly Townley (Bob); and his brother-in-law Don Agnew. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial preferred to Ecumen hospice for their compassionate care and support they showed Dennis and our family while he was in their care.
