With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Robert Wilmes of North Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint David Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sr. Wilmes and Verna Wilmes (Fischer); and his sons, Douglas and Dale. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Linde of North Mankato; and his children, Debra DePyper, Deidre Wilmes, Darla Regalado, Denise Wilmes, Dawn Dahline (Jeff) and Darin Wilmes. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers and 6 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Saint Peter Funeral Home - Klein Chapel (906 N Washington Ave, St Peter, MN 56082).
