She was predeceased by: her father Albert Mensing; her husband Chris; her brother Brian Mensing; and her in-laws, Richard Painter (Betty) and Greg Painter.
She is survived by: her mother Vernice Mensing (Nagel) of Mankato; her daughter Lindsey Marso (Nate) of Eagle Lake; her grandchildren, Breanna, Mackenzie and Avery; her great grandchildren, Dominick, Dawsyn, Bella, Bentley and Iris; her son Zachary Painter (Lisa) of Mankato; her grandchildren, Grace and Wyatt; her brothers, Eugene Mensing (Judy) of Mankato and Chuck Mensing of Blue Earth; and her sister-in-law Sandi Mensing of North Mankato. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the South Central College Endowment Scholarship Fund Denise and Chris Painter in North Mankato or Our Savior Lutheran Church in Mankato.
