He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Compton and June Compton (Kilmer); his wife Nancy Denton; and his siblings-in-law, Jan, Jerry and Howard.
He is survived by : his daughters, Deborah Tennant (Jamie Derry) of Mankato and Teresa Vaubel (Scott) of St. James; his grandchildren, Danyelle, Amanda, Kimberly, Andrew, Alex, Dylan and Cole; his great grandchild Alana; and his siblings, William Compton, Gordan Compton (Theresa), Sharon Hewitt (Gary), Beverly Marquardt, Marcia Pugh, Nadine Gatewood (Mike) and Wayne Compton (Angela). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
