She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin Harrington and Bernice Harrington; her brother Ronald Harrington; her brothers-in-law, Donald Holland and Jerry Haugen; and her nephews, Terry Harrington and Ronald Harrington, Jr. (Junior).
She is survived by: her daughters, Natalie Van Houten (Darren) of Worthing, SD, Nicole Geistfeld of Mankato, MN and Nanci Geistfeld (Joe Oskerson) of Lewisville, MN; her grandchildren, Joshua Van Houten, Carter Van Houten, Owen Oskerson, Adriana Freitag, Andre Freitag, Avari Freitag and Vienna Thomas; her great grandchildren, Ivy and Matilda; and her siblings, Barb Haugen, Fran Holland, Cheryl Knutson (Lee) and Jim Harrington (Jackie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1103 N Broad St, Mankato, MN 56001). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
While Parkinson's robbed her of the ability to fully participate in many of the above activities in her last years, her spirit and love of life remained until the end.
