He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bigbee and Maybelle Bigbee (Wessell); his brother Reid Bigbee; his daughter Kerry Alvarado; his grandson Jaime Karschnik; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Olga Erickson (Kleven); and his siblings-in-law, Lola Bigbee, Roger and Gary Erickson.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his daughter Linda Missling (Jim) of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandson Chris (Tiffany); his great grandchildren, Lily Lou and Carter; his grandson Kerry; his great grandchildren, Anthony "Tony" Karschnik (Renee) of Pueblo, CO and Sarah Suggs (Julian); his great great grandchild Aislynn; his great grandchild Tanner; his son-in-law Javier "Jay" Alvarado of Pueblo West, CO; his son Kevin Bigbee (Gale) of North Mankato; his granddaughters, Kelsey Bigbee and Allie Isakson (Tanner); his daughter Kristi Butler (Bob) of Revere, MN; his grandson Dan Butler (MacKenzie); his great grandchild Bryar; his granddaughter Laura Albertson (Rob); his great grandchildren, Joseph and Dylan (Shanaya); his great great grandchildren, Lexie and Bo; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Erickson and Myrna Erickson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
