She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Hammerschmidt and George Hammerschmidt of Springfield, MN.; her husband Marlin (Monnie); her daughter Kay (Kassie); her son-in-law Jerry; and her stepfather Henry.

She is survived by: her children, Pam Rae, Julie Joerg (Bob), Mike Hickey and Lana Simon (Randy); her grandchildren, Steven, Tony, Shannon, Liza, Don, Chris, Matthew, Alex, Joy, Jon, Andrea and Megan; her siblings-in-law, Jim Hickey (Terri Stratton) and Corrine Hammerschmidt; her parents-in-law, Emmett and Bernice Hickey; and her siblings, Gerald, Beatrice, Patricia, Rita, Virgil, Virginia and Dennis.
