She was predeceased by : her parents, Reinhold Milbrath and Antje Milbrath (Koester); her husband Arnold Rode; her granddaughter Rachel; and her siblings, Evelyn (George Aden), Viola (Hillard Mueller), Ronald Milbrath, Edith Milbrath, Edward Milbrath and Delbert Milbrath.

She is survived by : her children, Byron Rode of Lake Crystal, Cyndi Nyseth of Eau Claire, Kay Rode (Michael Kosowsky) of Juno Beach and Dawn Rode of Mendota Heights; her grandchildren, Joshua Rode (Kelsey Johnson-Rode), Angela Phares (Ron), Julie Nyseth and Jill Harder (Timothy); her great grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah, Finley, Riley, Maddie, Michael, Blaine, Aliyah, Jack, Max, Jane, Aria, Aiden and Alison; her great great grandchild Charlie; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Milbrath of Jackson and Naomi Milbrath of Loveland, Colorado. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
