She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Olinger and Phyllis Olinger (Tyson); and her great grandchildren, Loretta Beverly and Lenora Mary Overend. She is survived by: her children, Sammi Olinger and Brian Sampson (Holly); her husband Dennis Swanson; her grandchildren, Gunnar (Hannah), Makenna Overend (Lucas), Alex, Cole, Michael and Bella; her great grandchildren, Lennox and Rori; her siblings, Kris Sampson (Bill), Dave Olinger (Christie), Mary Pipping (Dwayne), Bill Olinger (Amy Brandel), Dan Olinger (Barb), Joe Olinger (Amy), Randy Olinger (Cara) and Fred Olinger; and her stepchildren, Theresa Aberley (Adam), Amy East (Matt) and Daniel Swanson (Fiona). She is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Children's Cancer Connection or the Gift of Life Transplant House in Rochester.
