Anton Edward Haga Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anton Edward Haga of Northfield, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Haga and Jeanine Haga (Stevens); his siblings, Gordon "Steve" Haga and Juli Mantor (Haga); and his great-nephew Anthony Rewald.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Ohnesorge; his children, Paul Haga (Cassie) of Champlin and Erica Peterson (John) of Cannon Falls; his granddaughters, Finn Peterson, Chloe Haga and Kira Haga; his children, Mathias Bruehning of Zurich and Jelena Leathard (Kmezic) of Washington, DC.; and his siblings, Holly Hillstrom (Bernie) of Woodville, WI and John Haga (Kathleen) of Minnetonka. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Center for Western Studies at Augustana University (Sioux Falls, SD), the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (givenow.lls.org), or donor's choice in Tony's honor. If you are moved to do so, we encourage you to donate blood.
