He is survived by: his parents, Jesus Castillo and Herminia Vazquez; his wife Genoveva Garcia Guerrero; his children, Claudia Lisseth Castillo, Jesus Gerardo Castillo and Fransisco Javier Castillo; his grandchildren, Daleyza Castillo, Xavier Castillo, Osmar Castillo, Briseidi Castillo, Leyla Vazquez, Edgar Jesus Moreno and Lukas Moreno; his great grandchildren, Antonela Castillo and Madison Castillo; and his siblings, Miguel Angel Castillo, Cesar Castillo, Norma Castillo, Araceli Castillo, Enedelia Castilllo, Laura Castillo, Erica Castillo and Carmen Castillo.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bierman, Benson & Langehough Funeral Home & Crematory (1316 Division St S, Northfield, MN 55057).
