We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Kathie Allen of Northfield, Minnesota, born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bernice Larson (Rantala) and Holger Larson. She is survived by : her husband Joe Allen of Grand Rapids; and her sisters, Karen Cue (Chuck) of Windham, Carol Latina of Oswego and Kay Hocking (late Rich) of Apple Valley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many extended family.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Community Presbyterian Church (703 Pokegama Ave, Grand Rapids, MN 55744). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Itasca-Calvary Cemetery (US-169, Grand Rapids, MN 55744).

The family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to the Itasca Community College Foundation Allen Scholarship Fund. Always thinking of others, it was Kathie's wish that donations in her name continue to provide support for women pursuing a higher education.
