She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Budin and Kathleen Budin (Thomas); her husband Steve; her in-laws, Ray and Ann Simon; and her brothers-in-law, Mike and Tom Simon.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie of Burnsville and Jeffery (Terri) of Chanhassen; her grandsons, Thomas and Spencer; her sisters, Linda Bourasa (Bernie) of Duluth, Sandra Keenan (Lawrence) of Carlos and Sara Venem (Mark) of Eagle Lake; and her siblings-in-law, Ray Simon (Marlene) of Northfield, Dick Simon (Roxanne) of Northfield, Tony Simon (Mary) of Montgomery, Joe Simon (Sandy) of Lonsdale, Mary Rah of Lonsdale, Janet Simon of Lonsdale and Sandie Simon of New Prague. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of St. Dominic (104 Linden St N, Northfield, MN 55057). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 12:30 PM at 115 2nd Ave NW, Lonsdale, MN 55046.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Dominic Church, St. Dominic School or any cancer organization.
