He was predeceased by: his parents, Akiko Sako and Dr. Yoshio Sako; his brother Patrick Dean; his parents-in-law, Lorraine and Jerome Palmer; his siblings-in-law, Dianna Palmer and Michael Palmer; and his nephew Shaan York.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Dean; his children, Jason Pelton (Ashley) and Molly Kreisler (Kory); his grandchildren, Bailey Tipcke (Raymond), Brayden, Gavin Kreisler, Troy, Ryzen Pelton, Vincent and Isabella Davisson; and his great grandchild Magdalen Tipcke. He is also survived by his sisters: aunt: and many others including brother in-laws: sister-in-laws: nieces: nephews: grand-nieces: grand-nephews: and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lundberg Funeral Home (5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:45 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 421 Mill St W, Cannon Falls, MN 55009.
