He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Louis and Hazel Violet Franklin (Ashman); and his brother Bill Franklin. He is survived by: his daughter Sonya Joan (Marcia Rachelle); his wife Joan Janet Clark; his daughter Marcia (Steve Wright); his granddaughters, Catalina Telford, Hazel Wright and Violet Wright; and his brother Mick Franklin (Dody).
