He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Rasmussen and Betty Rasmussen (Chambers); his brothers, Roger and Brian; and his brother-in-law Jim Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Shane (Lisa), Georgette Luiken (Jon) and Kelly Shepard (Brett); his grandchildren, Joe, Zach, Cody, Jayden, Tanner, Derek, Adam, Laney and Jaya; his siblings, Randy (Ceil) and Sherie Roberts; and his sister-in-law Monica. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hazelwood Lutheran Cemetery (3962 Hazelwood Ave, Webster, MN 55088). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the VFW Post 4393 Eugene H. Truax (516 Division St S, Northfield, MN 55057).
