She was predeceased by: her parents, August Frodermann and Gesena "Sena" Frodermann (Kluever); her husband Arthur Bass; her parents-in-law, Ray and Amalia Bass; her son-in-law Robert Muller; her granddaughter Alecia Mota Morales; her great grandchild Caroline Bakalyar; and her siblings, Darlene Whisney Jr. (Lawrence), Ethel Drahota (Robert), Gladys Fricke (Norman "Swede"), Mary Grimmius (Dennis), Eldred "Sonny" Frodermann (Darlene), Melvin "Bud" Frodermann (Margaret), Walter Frodermann (Myrtle "Toots") and Arnold Frodermann (Evie).
She is survived by: her children, Donna Bakalyar (Terry) of Springfield, MN, Vernon Bass (Donna) of Okabena, MN, Verlin Bass (Marsha) of Okabena, MN, Roger Bass (JoAnn) of Elko and Judy Muller of Osage, IA; her sisters, Dorothy Lass, LaVonne Polzine, Janice Johnson (Marlin) and Linda Laman; and her grandchildren, Eric Bass, Jeff Bass, Brandon Bass, Terry Bakalyar Jr., Bob Muller Jr., Justin Muller, Thomas Muller, Josh Bass, Charlotte Suess, Sheila Nachreiner, Heather Rogotzke, Crystal Groen, Amy Wicklund, Bonnie O'Reilly, Melody Kurtti, Stacy Marki and Shannon Cafarelli. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (120 N Front St, Okabena, MN 56161). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
