He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth (Kristina), Scott (Kabie), Brian (Jessica) and Steven (Dawn); and his brothers, Vernon LaCoursiere (Barb) and Darrel "Pete" LaCoursiere (Diane). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM. A prayer was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (301 Governor St, Oklee, MN 56742).
