She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Shamla and Mary Shamla (Steffel); her husband Raye of Mary's Catholic Church; her granddaughter Hedy Balderston; her daughter-in-law Virginia Balderston; her sister Eleanor Gartner (Andy); and her brother-in-law Tony Gartner.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael of Arlington, Kenneth (Catherine) of Olivia, Bernard (Norma) of Olivia and Thomas (Sandy) of Mesa, Arizona; and her sister Ruth Gartner of Olivia. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
